Kamaole Beach III is unique in the fact that the south end of the beach is a tiny protected half moon bay that is calm and serene most of the time, but only on the other side of the lava out cropping the waves are perfect for body surfing. This is a rich February morning. The waves swirled in, crashing against the black lava,
throwing white foam into the air. It was a lovely contrast against the deep blue sky.
