Makena Cove is an old haunt of ours. We love the ever changing mood of the water. Some days the water is translucent green, other times it’s a surreal blue. Never has it been the same beach twice and it’s always because of the water at this Secret Cove. This Fall morning the water was unbelievably warm, calm and inviting. The sand was hot and it felt good to just kneel on my knees in the water and capture the true essence of the tide.
