Rising early in Maui always has rewards. The full moon still left a mark on the horizon. Quiet and still beyond belief we enjoyed the first gentle sounds of Maui awaking to a new day. This moment was photographed with a 14mm lens, tripod mounted and the much needed slow shutter speed at around 4:30 in the morning.
